In a significant step towards improving public service delivery, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has

launched a modern online housing registration system for government employees, offering them

transparency, ease, and accessibility. This initiative, aimed at modernizing housing services, was made

possible through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Housing Foundation and the

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB). The MoU was signed in the presence of

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Housing, Dr. Amjad Ali, and Special Assistant to the Chief

Minister for Science and Technology, Shafqat Ayaz.

A Vision for Accessible Housing

In alignment with the vision of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government is

committed to introducing modern housing projects that provide affordable and accessible housing to its

employees. Under this new system, government employees will be allotted plots in government housing

schemes based on their job grades. The easy installment plans will enable employees to purchase plots

and fulfill their dreams of owning a home without facing any significant financial burdens.

This initiative is a major leap towards addressing the housing needs of government employees, ensuring

that they can have their own homes with convenience and ease.

Highlighting the Benefits and Looking Ahead

During the event, Mr. Mohammad Akif Khan, Managing Director of KPITB, emphasized the benefits of the

new online housing registration system, which ensures efficiency, transparency, and security, streamlining the

process for government employees.

This innovative system marks a key step in modernizing public services, providing employees with better

housing opportunities while promoting a digitally empowered Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The initiative is a

reflection of the government’s commitment to efficient governance, citizen engagement, and equal access

to resources, positioning the province as a leader in digital governance for the future
