Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is embracing digital innovation with the launch of a fully digitized Motor Vehicle Registration and Universal Number Plate System, developed by KPITB in collaboration with the KP Excise Department. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, this innovative system marks a significant step toward modernizing public services in the province, all in line with Vision 2030. Developed in just two months, the system is now available to walk-in citizens, offering a more efficient, transparent, and user- friendly service.
Seamless Digital Innovation for Vehicle Registration and Ownership Transfer
Starting October 1st, citizens can now easily apply for vehicle registration, transfer ownership, and pay applicable fees online through the Dastak app. This user-friendly platform allows for complete digitization of the motor vehicle registration process, ensuring greater convenience and accessibility for all residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The integration of digital innovation into public services not only saves time but also reduces the hassle traditionally associated with such processes.
Enhanced Transparency and Convenience with Paymir and NADRA Verification
This new system also integrates online payments through the Paymir platform, ensuring secure and hassle-free fee payments. In addition, NADRA verification and a unified vehicle database further enhance the transparency and reliability of the system, reducing the risk of fraud and errors. The use of digital tools ensures that the entire process—from payment application—is straightforward and trustworthy.
