Women Civic Digital Internship Program
The Women Civic Digital Internship Program, an initiative by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) in collaboration with Code for Pakistan, empowers women to excel in technology. By equipping them with cutting-edge skills, the program bridges the gender gap in tech and contributes to Pakistan's growing digital ecosystem.
This program offers training in web development, data science, machine learning, software quality assurance, graphic designing, and app development. Out of 50 selected participants, 47 successfully completed the program, gaining practical knowledge from industry experts. Nearly 40% of these participants secured employment post-internship, with an average monthly income of 36,250 PKR.
By combining the resources and expertise of KPITB and Code for Pakistan, this initiative delivers transformative results, preparing women for meaningful careers in technology.
